The Singular Best Taco in NYC?

I recently visited the Taco Truck, which is a food truck working at Tom Colicchio’s pop-up Beer Garden under the High Line.
As I typically do when I don’t know what to order, I asked what their singular best item was on the menu.  They suggested I try the Pescado taco – crispy catfish, Mexican slaw, pico de gallo, chipotle salsa, Mexican tartar sauce and queso cotija.  At $6.50, it was an expensive taco.  Nevertheless, it was worth every penny.  I would have easily paid $20 for the same taco.  The flavors were rich, spicy and varied.  The taco was not too heavy despite the fried catfish and tartar sauce, and all the ingredients tasted very fresh and delicious.  As a native Texan, I have had my fare share of tacos.  This one rivals the best.
